Most aromas could be divided into 6 basic groups.
Vegetable The aromas of vegetable group remind us of the fresh grass, citrus, sweet-scented plants, leaves, first springs colors and green green-stuffs. The example of the perfume of vegetable group is “Aliage” produced by «Estee Lauder" and Jean Nate. The notes of greenery are also often used in the epiphyses of perfume to give them a fresh easy aroma.
Aldehydic Aldehydes are perturbing synthetic aromas not looking like some natural smells. These delightfully fresh and clean aromas give certain refinement to the spicy, arboreal and floral notes. Therefore while most categories of aromas distinct and very certain, some of them can be blocked - and especially often it happens with the spirits of aldehydic group. So, for example, “Arpege” produced by " Lanvin" and Chanel ¹ 5 is classified as aldehydic modern mixtures, because they possess the personal touches of freshness and spiciness, while, for instance “Angelfire” produced by "Mary Kay" and White Linen, produced by "Estee Lauder" is aldehydic floral spirits, because their arboreal and floral notes give them soft aroma.
East East spirits are most bold, comparing with the rest of aromas. Sweet and spicy “Misterioso” surround you by making drunken smell of vanilla, sandal wood, cinnamon and spices - these notes are often used, similarly as lower notes of other spirits, in order to strengthen from firmness. Three known types of perfumes of east group – “Youth Dew” from "Estee Lauder", “Intrigue” by "Mary Key" and “Opium” the product of "Eve Sent Loran". Those, who love exotic things, undoubtedly, will please east perfumes. Some of them traditionally sweet and spicy, other fruit, and the third differ by more modern aromas.
Chypre Chypre differs by their modern and at the same time classic combination of aromas of trees and bryophytes, giving a warmth and depth to the perfumes. Examples of similar perfumes – “Ciao” from the "Gubinian" and “Ysatis” by "Givanshi". In the same group there are many aromas for men - for example, “Quattro” by "Mary Key".
Floral From womanlike and frivolous to saturated and romantic - the aromas of floral spirits are good for any time. From six categories of perfumes a floral group is the most popular, and it is tied-up, undoubtedly, with the wide variety of aromas of this group. Floral spirits can create appearance of one flower, and can remind a smell of a whole bouquet. For instance, “Jungle Gardenia English” by "Yardley" is determined as perfume of one floral aroma, and “Jontue” by "Revlon" and “Windsong" by “Prince Machiavelli" are floral bouquets. Some floral aromas are in a greater degree sweet, some are lights, and some are fruit. There are combinations of simultaneously vegetable, fruit and floral aromas.
Animalistic (animals) notes are often used in perfumes for giving them perceptible accent and greater firmness. People tried to understand the mystic essence of aromas at all times. Not one century people have aimed to retain the smells of colors and herbaria, trees and animals, ocean in a small bottle. Magic of aroma is surrounded by passions and legends. People are overcome by the most different senses, when they breathe in these smells: gladness, sadness, passion, love and, certainly, kindness. An aroma hides in itself the great number of secrets, it unites in itself shallow particles of ambergris’s, musk, tender particles of fresh grass and cool salt water or sweet notes of lily. Perfumes are the mean of seduction, sign of good taste and prosperity, stroke, finishing your appearance.
Those, who create perfumes, could be legally named the real magicians. In fact, in the world there are more than 35 thousand substances from which they create perfumes. Only magician can combine all this in a whole and get live aromas opening up with every faint note.
