Remember, that an excessive use of perfumes and products related to it, may cause allergic reactions of the skin. For example, acetophenone, ethyl acetate and acetone are present in many perfumes, but not many know that theses substances could be called potential respiratory allergens.
Natural and Synthetic aromatics
1. Many natural aroma materials are really toxic and are either prohibited or restricted by IFRA. These naturals have been replaced by safer artificial or synthetic materials.
2. Many natural materials and essential oil contain the same chemicals used in perfumes that are classified as allergens, many of them at higher concentrations.
3. Perfume, which include in their composition really high quality natural or synthetic materials can be very expensive. On the contrary, if you can’t afford this perfumes there are a numerous number of perfumes with synthetic aromatics, that make perfumes available at widely-affordable prices.
4. If perfume contains in its aromatic composition such natural materials, like sandalwood, it can lead to species endangerment and illegal trafficking.
5. Be aware, that buying perfume you could be toxicated. The reason lies in the distillation of natural essential oils by biocides (including pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides) that have been applied while the plant was growing. It may be concentrated into the essential oil making the oil toxic. Unless the essential oil is distilled from a certified "organic" origin, in other cases it may be dangerous.
6. In modern production of perfumes there are many new synthetic aromatic compounds that bear no olfactory relationship to any natural material, but still modern perfumery refers to these new odors for the infinite variety of perfumes available today. Many synthetics can’t be compared to any of natural materials.
Natural Musk
 Some time before musk was usually received from the male musk deer Moschus moschiferus. The process of this method required killing. Sex and the age of the animal weren’t taken into account while hinting, although the musk pod is produced only by young male deer musk. Due to the high demand of musk, the indiscriminate hunting was popular, that in consequence lead to the vanishing process of deer population. As a result, the deer is now protected by law and international trade of musk from Moschus moschiferus is prohibited.
So, consider all these facts: legality, rarity, high price, and ethical reasons. It is the policy of many perfume companies to create their products without using genuine musk, but synthetic musk in place for ethical reasons. Numerous synthetic musks of high quality are readily available.
